Company recognized for protecting SCADA and ICS networks and OT environments of critical infrastructure operators with its industrial intrusion detection solution
Mahwah, NJ (March 20, 2018) – Radiflow, a leading provider of industrial cybersecurity solutions for critical infrastructure, today announced that the company has recently won the Cybersecurity Excellence Award for its iSID Industrial IDS solution in the category for Critical Infrastructure Security.
The Cybersecurity Excellence Awards is an annual award competition honoring individuals and companies that demonstrate excellence, innovation and leadership in cybersecurity.
Radiflow won this award recognition for its iSID solution for protecting SCADA and ICS networks and OT environments of critical infrastructure operators. iSID provides facility operators with in-depth mapping of their OT assets, flags potential risks and alerts on any security breaches.
The company reports that it is experiencing significantly increased market traction across critical infrastructure sectors and has doubled the sales of its iSID solution and related services over the past year in these sectors. Radiflow has also begun addressing additional Industrial IoT applications that have a high risk potential, such as chemical factories, transportation systems and building management systems.
“We are proud to win this Cybersecurity Excellence Award and be recognized as an innovation leader in our market space,” stated Ilan Barda, CEO of Radiflow.
“The foreign cyberattack on a power plant in the United States publicized over the weekend is not an isolated or one-off incident,” continued Barda. “In response these constantly expanding threats, we are seeing more and more top management initiatives to protect the security of connected critical infrastructure networks as well as comply with growing regulations, such as NERC CIP v6 in the United States and similar new government mandates in the EU, for which our award winning industrial cybersecurity solutions are meeting these market demands for our customers.”
Radiflow further reports that its R&D experts are constantly updating the company’s iSID detection algorithms to anticipate future cyberattack parameters and recently released an update to its iSID solution that has improved the security posture of its customers against many of the high profile cyberattacks recently publicized.
Radiflow’s iSID solution is an industrial intrusion detection system designed for protecting the SCADA and ICS networks and OT environments of critical infrastructure operators. The iSID system maps a baseline of the operational assets and continuously monitors the industrial network for anomalies using a unique multilayer architecture addressing the wide range of potential attack vectors. For any changes to the operational assets and anomalies in expected network traffic that may indicate cybersecurity threats, iSID generates real-time alerts.
Radiflow is currently offering qualified operators of critical infrastructure a security assessment of their SCADA and ICS networks and overall OT environment. This security assessment offered by Radiflow is a non-binding engagement that will include a mapping of the operational assets, an analysis of revealed threats and vulnerabilities and specific recommendations for a risk mitigation plan.
