Tel Aviv, July 26, 2002 — John Allen, formerly VP of OT Security with GSK Pharmaceuticals, has joined Radiflow as OT Pharma Consultant. His hiring signals Radiflow’s intent to expand its already-strong presence in the UK.
John’s 23-year tenure at GSK focused predominantly in Manufacturing IT, where he facilitated business partnering, program management and professional services to GSK’s manufacturing operations, including enterprise and shop floor systems such as MES, Lab, Maintenance, Asset Management, Calibration, Quality, Serialisation and Warehouse Management.
In his early years at GSK John led infrastructure programs and services, designed and built GSK’s middleware service/solution, worked in Global Architecture, and established the global IT M&A CoE to build and operated an M&A framework and capability for all of IT.
Within the GSK OT Security Transformation Program, John’s established business partnering and relationships, led him to being specifically selected to lead a global program that spanned 77 manufacturing sites as well as additional R&D and Lab centers. This program entailed the discovery of a significant amount of OT assets across GSK’s global OT footprint, as well as conducing risk assessments for those assets, which in turn could be linked to business critical (revenue/reputation) sites, products and specific lines, and eventually leveraged to gain top-of-the-house approval and funding for risk reduction.
With Radiflow John will take on a strategic role in connecting with Pharma and other process manufacturing business leaders, creating industry subject matter content and working with the Sales team on engagements and collaborations to provide invaluable real world insights and experience.
